Hi, this is my Digital Garden, partially a collection for hosting various links and information on my professional research activities in one place, and partially a walkway along parts of my journey. For the latter, I am collecting lessons I learn while working or otherwise living, and accumulating words to describe my process of growth. 📈
What I do for living 💵
I currently work as a Research Engineer at the Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), a part of UL Research Institutes.
I completed my Ph.D in Mechanical engineering at University of Maryland (UMD), College Park where I researched on the problem of material flammability, pyrolysis, flame spread via multi-scale experiments and modeling. My research journey truly began here.
Prior to that, I completed my Masters in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station. I am from India and completed by bachelors in Chemical Engineering at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT, Nagpur).
What I do for life ⽣
Backpacking is my way to embrace life. When I cannot backpack, I enjoy macro and landscape photography, music, reading, and writing about life and living. This website is to also summarize some technical skills gained while conducting research.
